TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior military strategist underlined that the recent victory of the Syrian army and its allies in Nubl and al-Zahra towns in Northwestern Aleppo province has provided a new model for the world armies and revolutionized military tactics at an international level.

The Syrian army broke the terrorists' four-year-long siege of Nubl and al-Zahra in Aleppo province on Wednesday afternoon.

"Breaking the siege of Nubl and al-Zahra presented a new military model and tactic to the world's military knowledge," Hasan Hasan told FNA on Sunday.

He reiterated that the Syrian army's victory in Nubl and al-Zahra is a success that Damascus should take pride in as it proved the Syrian army's extraordinary power.

In relevant remarks on Saturday, a senior military commander whose forces defeated the terrorists in Nubl and Al-Zahra and ended the siege of the two cities, said their victory proved that they can crush terrorists and bring back entire Syria under Damascus control.

"Breaking the siege of Nubl and al-Zahra proved that the Syrian army is capable of seizing back any region in the country," the Syrian commander who is known by his nom de guerre 'The Lion of Nubl' told FNA.

He, meantime, noted that the terrorist groups have fled to the Turkish borders, and said, "The terrorist groups sustained such a large number of casualties and such a heavy defeat that they had to leave behind the dead bodies of their comrades."

"The terrorist groups are planning to send female suicide bombers to Nubl and al-Zahra to carry out suicide attack in the two towns, but the forces stationed in those towns have taken the needed measures," the commander added.

Also on Saturday, a retired Lebanese General underlined that the same tactics used by the Syrian army and its allies to take back Nubl and al-Zahra towns will be applied to free Foua'a and Kafria in Idlib.

"I think that attacks against Jasr al-Shaghour will continue from Sarmaniya, Ghaniya, Kanasba and Badama to Saraqib," Ali Maqsoud told FNA.

Noting that Idlib city will collapse militarily after the liberation of Saraqib, he said that the army is not after the destruction of the city since it includes many towns.

"Finally, the same method used for winning back Nubl and al-Zahra will be used to free Saraqib in Idlib to be followed by breaking Foua'a and Kafria siege."

The siege of the strategic Nubl and al-Zahra towns was removed after four years in an army offensive from the Eastern side of the two towns, while other units of the Syrian army also managed to purge terrorists from 80 percent of the village of Ma'arasta al-Khan.

The siege of Foua'a and Kafria has entered its 11th month while the terrorists have killed 600 Shiites in these two towns and prevented delivery of food and medical aid to their residents.
