TEHRAN (FNA)- Three main neighborhoods in Aleppo city were targeted by the Syrian army units on Thursday, sources said, adding that dozens of terrorists were killed in the assault.
The Syrian army forces launched attacks against the Takfiri terrorist groups’ positions in the neighborhoods of al-Rashidin, al-Ramouseh and al-Sakhour, field sources said.
The attacks killed tens of Takfiri terrorists and injured others, destroying their military vehicles, weapons and ammunition, they added.
In a relevant development on Wednesday, the Syrian air force destroyed the militants' sensitive military positions and gathering centers in three strategic towns in Aleppo province.
Scores of militants were killed and wounded in the army attacks on their positions in the towns of Al-Bab, Qabasin, Beza and Susian.
The terrorists' positions were also razed by Syrian fighter jets in Handarat and Hraytan. The militants sustained heavy losses and casualties in the Syrian airstrikes on their positions.
