Why build a wall and limit immigration when life in a police state is so interesting?

A police state is a small price to pay for an Open Society, one of the few problems being, as a German official described it, is that it takes 60 agents to surveil just one terror suspect. At last count the Germans were monitoring 500 Islamic extremists who pose a 'potential terror threat' – after foiling ISIS suicide bomb plot involving TEN jihadis (June 3, Daily Mail).  

So you can see how things become difficult. Granted, these watch lists are pretty strange, as The Intercept reported today and as befits things in a police state, but the point is that there can be well over a million names on them.
