ALEPPO, SYRIA (12:15 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Army continued their large-scale assault in the eastern pocket of Aleppo City on Wednesday, targeting the jihadist-controlled parts of Bustan Al-Basha, Suleiman Al-Halabi, and Sheikh Sa'eed.
The first attack began this morning when a group of soldiers from the 102nd Brigade of the Republican Guard and Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary) stormed the Bustan Al-Basha District's central neighborhoods, resulting in a fierce battle with Fatah Halab that is still ongoing at the moment.
South of the Bustan Al-Basha District, the Syrian Armed Forces attempted to breach Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki's last line of defense near the strategic Water Pumping Station; however, no progress has been reported as of yet.
At the southern part of the east Aleppo pocket, the Syrian Arab Army's 800th Regiment, alongside Hezbollah and Harakat Al-Nujaba (Iraqi paramilitary), launched another assault inside the Sheikh Sa'eed District, striking Jaysh Al-Fateh's defenses near the imperative hilltop of Tal Sheikh Sa'eed.
More details to come....
