The alleged attack happened today but the following report doesn't mention exactly what key target was hit; however, today's drone bombing is one of a series of recent attacks against S. Arabia. Although it's unclear how much damage is done by each attack, in total they're putting tremendous pressure on Riyadh.
Will the Israelis intercede with airstrikes on the Houthis? Well, they've talked about it. I should think the situation for the Israeli governments, which is trying to get along with both the Emiratis and Saudis, has been complicated by the division that's opened between those two Gulf governments regarding the situation in Yemen. HOUTHIS STRIKE “KEY MILITARY TARGET” IN SAUDI ARABIA’S ‘ASIR PROVINCE
September 6, 2019

The Houthis targeted early on September 6 a “key military target” near the city of Khamis Mushait in the southern Saudi province of ‘Asir, a spokesman for the Yemeni group announced.
“It was a direct hit … This strike comes as a response to the crimes of the aggression, its ongoing siege and its continue[d] airstrikes,” Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari said.
Several Qasef-2K [unmanned] aerial vehicles (UAVs) were reportedly used in the attack. Qasef-2K is believed to be a copy of the Iranian Ababil-2 UAV.
A day earlier, the Houthis launched several Qasef-2 UAVs at King Khalid Air Base in Saudi Arabia’s southern region. The Yemeni group also targeted Najran Regional Airport with several local-made Badir-1 artillery rockets.
The results of these attacks remain unclear. The Saudi-led coalition claimed that its units intercepted two Houthi UAVs on September 5. However, the coalition has not commented on the other attacks, so far.
