Ukraine's energy system teetering due to massive sustained Russian attacks

I would guess the following report at Intel Slava Z, posted October 18 around 3:46, was filed before all the effects could be calculated from last night's Russian drone attacks across Ukraine targeting energy facilities. So, the damage to Ukraine's energy system could be considerably more than 40 percent at this point.

Our source reports that damage to the energy system of Ukraine is already 40%.

Colleagues correctly write that the unified energy system is facing the risk of complete collapse. If the Russians continue to hit non-stop, then in a week there will be nothing left.

Add to this the shortage of spare parts and components, and you will understand that Ukraine will soon be in a “complete blackout”. That's when the hardest times begin. This also applies to western Ukraine, which hoped that they would carry over and all the hardships, as usual, would fall on the south-east of Ukraine. [END]

Several more posts with videos at ISZ on the drone strikes; including this post today:

Zelensky said that since October 10, 30% of Ukrainian power plants have been destroyed
