That's it. All other reasons to get Trump removed from the presidency are a distant third. The various schemes to remove him are not only promoted by U.S. Democratic Party leaders; many top U.S. Republicans also want him gone, or at least hamstrung during his time in office. Earlier this year a bipartisan group of lawmakers "... reintroduced legislation Thursday that seeks to prohibit President Donald Trump from quitting the NATO alliance ..."
But the runner-ups are specifically political in nature; the top two reasons are not. They are grounded in the American intelligence and defense communities and supporters of the status quo at the U.S. Department of State, which strongly supports the Nato point of view. This is despite the fact that the Nato view came to reflect European Union defense interests more than American ones.
