"The reality is that Indonesia is falling apart"

Much of Gregory Copley's discussion with John Batchelor on Batchelor's Monday show actually concerns China's moves for hegemony in the Indo-Pacific region. But the first eight minutes of the report is about New Zealand's general election and what is for me the surprising turn of events in Indonesia -- surprising because I haven't paid attention to the country for years. And the unrest there folds into the increasingly fragile situation in the Indo-Pacific, which of course China exploited, which of course caught the Obama Administration flat-footed.

As to the Trump Administration -- well, from what Gregory said, it sounds as if they're trying to catch up with events.

Here is the podcast for the discussion.
