Northeast Colombia Drought 2014

After riots, a severely drought-stricken region in Columbia got food and water aid, government promises and, of course, two new wells for a "popular Caribbean tourist city long affected by drought and lack of potable water." For many years it was a major commercial marijuana growing area and major transhipment point for marjiuana smuggled into the USA. It's just that nobodyexplained to the Indians growing the crop that large scale marijuana cultivation on a peninsula is slow suicide. Now the Indians know.
