"Breaking: Israel allegedly bombs west Damascus" UPDATED 7:55 PM EDT

Re my note in the second report, below, I found the report at SANA, datelined May 9:
Damascus Countryside, SANA – The Syrian air defenses Tuesday night intercepted two Israeli missiles and destroyed them in al-Keswah area in Damascus Countryside, a military source told SANA.
The source added that the new Israeli aggression coincided with the progress made by the Syrian army in its operations against terrorist organizations in al-Hajar al-Aswad area as a step towards full cleanse of the surroundings of Damascus city from any terrorist presence.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:40 P.M.) – The Israeli AIr Force has allegedly struck the western countryside of Damascus tonight, causing loud explosions close to the occupied Golan Heights.

According to preliminary reports from the area, the Israeli Air Force struck a military position near the town of Kisweh.

Some reports claim that the Israeli warplanes struck a Hezbollah convoy; however, it is still unconfirmed.

Israeli forces reportedly struck targets near Damascus on Tuesday with missiles, according to Al Masdar News [report above], just hours after US President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran sanctions deal.

Syria's SANA reports that air defense systems intercepted at least two missiles fired at the al-Kaswa area, which is proximal to southern Damascus. [Pundita note: as of 4:55 PM EDT I am not seeing any such report posted at SANA (English); might have been removed -- or maybe the report was posted at SANA's Arabic version]
