UK, KSA, USA: the most frightening axis of evil

The United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, has directed a diatribe against both the Syrian government and "Syrian rebels" about the weaponization of starvation. It is untrue that Syria's military uses starvation as a seige weapon but why, I wondered, didn't Ban include in the lecture governments that have bought and paid for the war in Syria? It took not even 20 seconds on the internet to find part of the answer:

Wikileaks Exposes Secret Deal To Get Saudi Arabia On UN Human Rights Council
In a classic case of you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours, the leaked cables ─ translated by UN Watch ─ allege that a secret vote trading deal was made by Britain and Saudi Arabia to ensure both countries were elected to the council.
Not even 10 more seconds on the internet turned up another part of the answer:

Saudi Arabia donated $115 billion to help 90 countries
Faisal bin Hassan Trad, the permanent representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Office in Geneva, said the Kingdom has been the most generous country in the world in the field of development and humanitarian aid over the past four decades.
During those decades the Saudis used their oil wealth to seed human societies with the most virulent totalitarian doctrine of governance -- a doctrine that serves as basis for a nihilistic terrorist philosophy and rationalization of conquest and genocide.

And with every step, the Saudis have paved their demonic path with generous donations to any peoples the United Nations designated needy. They did this while walking hand in hand with the United Kingdom and United States, which loudly wept for the world's downtrodden and thundered support for human rights.

And we call Iran, North Korea, and China evil. At least governments in those countries don't pretend to be what they aren't. At least they don't use human rights as a bludgeon. At least they don't insult reason by perverting every concept of decency. At least they don't mock God.

A righteous post. American politics has been distorted by AIPAC, our off-shoring of huge manufacturing capacity to a communist dictatorship in China (that extorted trade secrets from the naive American corporations) and consequent munificent financing of China's military, and by Saudi Arabia. We are complicit in the burning of the captured pilot, executions of other POWs and Christians and homosexuals, and enslavement of women prisoners, not to mention the needless laying waste to Syria and the deaths that that has caused in the process. Our policies in the M.E. are as unclean as the Saudia and Qataris are satanic. "Nihilistic terrorist philosophy and rationalization of conquest and genocide" pretty much sums them up. Even then, it fails to capture the stupidity, cruelty, and primitivism that are the essence of their philosophy. Now the Turks clamor to be admitted to their club. Our political elites are their bitch.
