Bringing Yemen War to Lebanon: Trump regime had better not be involved in any such plot

Quoting Bell, Kawar wrote, "Abdolrahman al-Sadhan, a senior advisor to Mohammed bin Salman [Saudi Crown Prince and now de facto ruler of KSA], has said that it is better to spread the proxy wars against Iran in Yemen to Lebanon."

An allegation made by an anonymous source would be one thing; leaked official correspondence from Jordan's Ambassador to the U.S. is quite another.

I would like to believe Mike Bell, Trump's top NSC adviser on the Middle East, was simply passing along information to Kawar. But the Trump regime has clearly indicated in Syria that it continues the American post-WW2 policy of using an entire country as a chessboard and its people as pawns in order to achieve 'geopolitical' goals or help allies. Given the history, I fear there is more to Bell's discussion than relaying a remark.

As to who leaked the correspondence -- the report below doesn't make any mention, not even speculation. But from all accounts Diane Kawar is an admirable person. I can't see her approving of the kind of plot broached by the MbS adviser.

Paper Discloses S. Arabia's Intention to Spread Yemen War to Lebanon

TEHRAN (FNA)- Jordanian Ambassador to Washington Dina Kawar's official correspondence and diplomatic exchanges revealed that Riyadh has been seeking to spread the war against Yemen to Lebanon, a Lebanese paper revealed.

The Arabic language al-Akhbar newspaper released the text of a letter written by Kawar to UAE diplomats on November 22, 2017 in which she elaborated on her meeting with Mike Bell, a retired US Army colonel who served in the Iraq war and is now Trump's top Middle East adviser on the National Security Council.

Quoting Bell, Kawar wrote, "Abdolrahman al-Sadhan, a senior advisor to Mohammed bin Salman [the Saudi crown prince], has said that it is better to spread the proxy wars against Iran in Yemen to Lebanon."

The Lebanese newspaper had also earlier this week disclosed a new document showing that the UAE foreign ministry had rendered all-out financial support for Hezbollah's adversaries in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Lebanon.

Al-Akhbar released a telegraph sent by Hamdan Seyed al-Hashemi, the UAE consul-general in Beirut, to the country's deputy foreign minister on December 19 to introduce 28 Shiite Lebanese candidates who have adopted strong positions against Hezbollah and Amal movement.

It also called for financial support for the candidates to launch election campaign.
Names mentioned in the message:

Hareth Suleiman
Manni Fayyadh
Hoda al-Husseini
Mostafa Fahas

Endless losing and stalemated wars are a control mechanism of the un-elected govt of millions against the elected govt of hundreds and the military that loyally serves the Constitution.

"Trump regime had better not be involved in any such plot."

OR WHAT? Is there an Or What with that?

However-the Trump administration is not interested in middle eastern adventures. Trump would by his actions like to stabilize matters along the lines of current reality [see Jerusalem and ending the Pal war at last] and not leave Iran deal in place causing nuclear arms race in middle east. Trump has Israel to contend with like every American President since Truman.

But that's just part of the picture.

The American Military does not start wars-nor is it allowed to finish them. $$$

The faction in American government that has been bought and paid for with shekels, dinars, Riyals and Rials [Iranian Rials] as well as Dollars and Rennembi [CN] is the State Dept and Foreign Policy Community and bought nearly completely.

Trump in case you missed it Madam is in a death match power struggle with elements in his own government that have been striving since the summer of 2016 to prevent his election and then have tried every device they could to depose him. >that will mean an American Civil War. >now THIS is an OR WHAT.<

Most administrators inherit sunk cost fallacies. In the case of every American President since Truman they inherit the administrative state who's loyalties ceased to be American during the New Deal. This is why Truman suddenly finds himself caught flat footed in Korea and never recovered his balance.

And yet Presidents from time to time do get uppity: and they regret it. Truman fired people and not just communists and found himself with the Cold war and then Korea.

JFK crossed the Deep State and ended up dead.

LBJ failed the Deep State in Vietnam by taking responsibility for the Diem Coup and was forced out.

Nixon was going to reorganize the Federal Govt along rational lines [4 super cabinets] after 1972 sweep and was deposed. Nixon was a bloodless coup.

Reagan outsmarted them but was nearly bought down by Iran Contra.

Bush family is Deep State and fed them.

Obama dragged his feet on Syria and they never forgave him.

Trump is elected explicitly to defend America and wants out of ME altogether but does NOT have control of DC yet. DC is trying to DEPOSE HIM and if they can't use the Mueller investigation to keep him in check and themselves in the money they so love.

So you're looking THE WRONG WAY - you need to look at American politics to understand American policy. Trump wants out very desperately but needs to keep some people in clover$$ if he's going to have allies against the eternal war and welfare political machine of the administrative state in check - or as allies if it gets worse.

That's why he signs the budget openly against his will: money to the military.

Note: uniformed personnel in the US Military are NOT the ones on the take and remain the last branch of the Federal Govt obedient to the Constitution and the President.

Which is why along with POTUS [the office of POTUS] they've been the other big losers - over and over again - since 1945.

Endless losing and stalemated wars are a control mechanism of the un-elected govt of millions against the elected govt of hundreds and the military that loyally serves the Constitution.

You have missed the main point because you're looking at the baby pics of suffering children Mrs. Jellyby.

Endless stalemated wars since 1945 are political control measures of the unelected govt of millions against the elected govt of hundreds in DC.

More Bluntly: The STATE DEPT IS THE KWANGTUNG ARMY OF JAPAN IN MANCHURIA AND THE CORE OF THE CORRUPTION AND THE HEART OF THE SWAMP - AND ANY PRESIDENT WHO'S CROSSED THEM ENDED UP DEAD, DEPOSED [Nixon] OR LOST HIS PRESIDENCY IN DISGRACE [Truman, JFK, Johnson, Nixon] which is WHY MOST AMERICAN PRESIDENTS FEED THE BEAST TO PLACATE IT AS THEY CANNOT FIRE THE STATE DEPT legally since Humphrey's Executors [1937-FDR can't fire head of FTC which means by precedent the President lost control of the Executive Branch] and the APA act of 1946 sealed that under law.
