NATO was so obsessed with Putin that it missed everything else

Is the upcoming NATO summit even worth talking about?  Well, here is the Reuters analysis from yesterday, In shadow of Brexit, NATO considers Russian deterrence. There's also the attempt by some society of former intelligence professionals to talk Angela Merkel into standing up to the lunatics running NATO:
In 2015, as your own intelligence analysts were able to tell you, Breedlove went beyond hyperbole to outright fabrication with claims that “well over a thousand combat vehicles, Russian combat forces, some of the most sophisticated air defense weapons, and battalions of artillery” had been sent to eastern Ukraine.
Breedlove is now gone but his replacement is just as dangerous.  I need some sign of sanity before I go to sleep or I'll have nightmares. Let me see...ah yes. Did you know that Rosie's human went through the entire field to make sure it was free of ticks before he let her bounce around there? She likes to bounce.
